No?

Lebda is a two way contract? I really don't know, but I would have thought if he was, he would have went down earlier, back when he got benched for a few games.

So you want to move Lebda for a player who is cheap (relatively), signed long term, and would be our best PKer? I'm all for it, but this isn't NHL 09.

As for Fil, he was signed to that deal based upon POTENTIAL. Holland could be wrong, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

No, LEBDA is NOT on a two-way contract. I was referring to some (not all) of the guys in Grand Rapids. Lebda is obviously on a one-way contract and has to go through waivers.

And No, I want to move KRONWALL for Volchenkov.

Am I that obtuse in my posts? Guess I need to edit them, because you completely misunderstood it, 100%.

As for Flip, this debate can go on all day, night, week, month, year long. Its a personal opinion that some agree with, others dont. Personally, I think 3M is too much to spend on a guy who doesn't have good offensive vision and is going to primarily function as a two-way forward with .5 ppg potential. Thats fine and all, but to me all he'll ever be is a lesser version of what we have too much of. I see his value in trading him either for farm stock or for a physical presence that can manage the 30 points on the season that Flip is headed for.

Why is everyone so surprised?

If the Avs can score 3 goals in one period, why can't we?

Hello. This is off topic, but what do you think about Slava Kozlov? He's still one of my favourite players. Back in the day I was glad that Red Wings got Hasek, but I was sad that Kozlov had to leave.

I think Daniels is a little more vocal when the opposition scores, especially if it was a nice play, though obviously he responds much more for the Wings goals.

I still have something against Haynes from his radio days..."another right by Roy, another right by Roy, an uppercut! (while Roy and Ozzie are holding each other) YEAH BABY! HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES?!". Seriously, wtf is that?

Yeah, I don't know who the guys are, but I remember Mike Haynes days of the rivalry. Its either not him or hes just toned it down.

Well, I am knocking them back...

Fil is overpaid right now, no doubt. But with Hossa, Sammy, and Huds being FA after this year (and I ignoring Z and Freanzen... LA LA LA LA LA, I can't hear you...) we are gonna need someone to step up next year.

Haynes, McNab and Kelly are brutal. Kelly is in St. Louis now but still just as bad as ever. The fact that both Kelly and McNab did national games for Versus a couple years ago is incredible.

Indeed. Both these guys and the previous Avs announcer (now with the Blues) suck just as bad.

Thankyouthankyou!

What is this? Wings team has a fire under their ass all of a sudden. Late wake up call?

Kozlov is my #2 favorite player (After Kovy, of course).

He definitely deserves the "C" on our team. He, other than Kovy, will always score when needed. He supplies the classic bad-angle, short-side goals that propel us to either tie the game or put us ahead late in the third. I don't think I have ever seen him screw something up. He plays half-heartedly sometimes, but he ALWAYS does more harm than good.

In other words, when needed, he delivers. (Second the team in goals, too, but that's not saying much 'cause we're the Thrashers)

Speaking of statistics, he has by far the highest shooting percentage on our team and is 2nd on the team in points. (One behind Kovy)
