By any chance does anyone know the font the Red Wings use for the player name and number on the back of their jerseys (or something thats close to it atleast)?

It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

Cant help you with the font titles... heres the script that I found a while back.
the Wings have had the right idea for a long time, they use the "vertical arch" style of lettering. Some MLB teams are still using that radial arch style, and it probably gives equipment managers fits when they have to apply 10+ letter names to the back of small jerseys (see: Saltamaccia)

Thanks alot! That'll be huge for matching up fonts if the font itself isn't available.
Just an FYI for anyone, it looks like the Wings use "Allstar" font for their Preseason jerseys. I can't 100% confirm though.

NFmac25... they definately use a different font for the preseason jerseys, couldnt tell you what its called though.
Scotzman... do you want the actual width and height of the letters and numbers? I have an authentic that I can measure if you want.

Did anyone ever figure out what the font is? I've been looking for it everywhere and can't find it.

If you look at the image I linked to the last one is, if not spot on, very very close to being the font.

I have every NHL teams jersey/number font for the EDGE jerseys and pre edge. I don't have an exact name of the file of font, they are all titled with the team name and not the actual font, but it is identical... al you do is install it and its ready to go to type whatever you need.

'That link' for 'those fonts' has a nearly spot on font in the NHL_final.zip file.
