Of all the commissioners in the history of professional sports, only one has lost an entire 1 1/2 seasons due to labor disputes. That's pitiful. Ok, now tell me which other commissioners have presided over a league that has had lower revenue than the NHL while Bettman has been the commish. It was a great goal! Pierre gave him no credit for the play. Did the wind make the goalies eyes water too when Pav deked him? Okay, let me understand this...he says Pasha got "a gust of wind" that propelled him past the D and gave him the goal. If that is so, then how do you explain all the times that Pasha's done that in arenas around the league???? Are you going to claim there is a wind tunnel in the Zamboni entrance??? This mindless Pierre hate reminds me of that of Gary Bettman's... it has gone way overboard.... Thanks for nutting up and saying this, therefore making it easy to say that I agree. I listened to him on XM from Montreal on Friday and was very impressed with his level of insight into and passion for the game. Previously, I had been biased by popular opinion and his ill-fated stint coaching the Whalers.
