I tell you what, how much does it say about this years Wings that you don't feel safe until they've scored the 7th goal? Still, great play by Sammy

And agree with the other posters about the 4th line - Drapes and Maltby were really buzzing out there.

See you all again tomorrow for the Crosby wankfest on NBC <_<

The Wings played an excellent 45 minutes of hockey and then seemed to let up resulting in 3 goals. Osgood's play has been sub-par to say the least, but the team also has fell apart and left him out to dry. It is odd that the team at times plays better in front of Ty.

Weird totals there, but i guess babcock took advantage of the situation (big lead) but still, when oilers scored that 3rd goal he should have injected some high skills (eurotwins) :)

Those two should never be taken apart again.

Ever.

Consider them joined at the hip.

If osgood would have been playing tonight it probably would have been 8-5/6.. I'm sure.

I disagree.

Hossa is doing more than just fine without Datsyuk.

How many times has Pavel fed Hossa the puck and it resulting in a goal? Find it and we will have the answer. I am not green behind the ears when it comes to watching and analyzing this game.

Never said you were - just saying I don't happen to think you're right.

Filppula feeds him the puck now - and he's getting some high goal marks. Five goals in the last three games? He's doing just fine without Datsyuk.

That still did not answer my question. Find the stats and we will go from there. I do remember that a few weeks ago you were sitting across the table from me when the Wings were playing the Caps and early on in the game I said the Wings D looks like it may break down at times.

You rubbed it in when the Wings went up 1-0 in that game, yet the end result was the Wings losing 4-2 after allowing AO 2 breakaways where he clearly split the D on both goals. There were some other LGW Members in attendance and sure they may of remembered.

I am not saying "I told you so" or "I am right", but the end result is what matters.

By looking at results over long term than a short period of time gives better data.
