Call the box office about the ID but get there super early and take in count if it's the weekend and which team is playing. Haw far is your hometown now? Wayne State sent an email and you can get the student rush but have to play a extra 5 to secure them (stupid service charge).
Hit it hard in Royal Oak... but I'll see you all in Detroit. Friday 11am.

My hometown in like 7-8 hours away from detroit i was thinking of going down a day before the game just to make sure we get them. Why did wayne state send an email about what? or was it to the box office?

I say just spend $7 more per ticket and get much better seats, hot dogs and a coke!
2 for $44 deals... guaranteed tickets and you don't have to "show up" to get them on game day

I just got an email from our school talking about the student rush and telling us to take advantage. Call the Joe or Box office and ask if there's any way to hold student rush tickets (reference the email or something, it might help) because I would be very bummed to drive all that way and not get to go.

Or do that... it's not that bad of an idea.

Hey man, I go to bay too so know about the IDs. I went the game game yesterday and used my ID and I got in, although I didn't even end up showing the guy my ID. I went with a couple of friends who had normal IDs and I think he checked the first one and didn't even bother with the rest of them. it was kind of a hassle though because none of our seats were next to each other (and the Joe was packed) so we kept on trying to find empty seats and we kept on getting kicked out. but other than that and having nothing to do but drive around downtown detroit for five hours it was a great time.

Actually I've done both and the $15 seats are much better than the 2 for $44 dollar seats.
The student tickets were lower- upper bowl seats, and the 2 for $44 dollar seats were nose bleed, second to last row seats. The issue with the student tickets is none of them are together, so if you're going with friends don't plan on sitting with each other.
Called the box office when we did the student tickets and they told me that I would need a photo id and my school information because OCC doesn't give out student I.D. cards, but when we got there to purchase the tickets, they didn't even ask to see our I.D.
