Although we witnessed a lazy and sucked performance by the Wings against the Wild at our last gathering, a splendid time was has by all. In attendance were: Hockey&beer, stellargirl21, 2 of their friends (Bill and Melanie), redwinslady87, Hockeyrulz, Rivalred, and HOCKEY MATTERS.

sorry that i wasnt able to make it last saturday. I fully planned on attending but had to work an initial 2 hrs due to other workers calling in sick due to the storm. By the time I got home from work it was well past 8:30pm.

I normally work til 4 or 5pm so weekend games with a matinee start times are doubtful for me.

also march madness tournament is going on during that weekend too. Might have to arrive extra early to make sure the wings game is on a main tv.

At least you have a job to go to.....these days that's great! Sooner or later the times will match up and you'll get to make one of these.

I will make reservations and make sure we can see the Wings. Thanks!

yup..thats the way i am looking at it too. I am just sick of the same ol workers calling in due to laziness. I work 6 hrs today. I know that may not be much but I make the most of it.

Just briefly checking the schedule in April and there isnt much that works for me. Going to the April 2nd game with my gf and most of the weekend games are matinees so i am likely to be at work when they are on. Looks like we will have to shoot for the playoffs.

You guys were at Cheli's in Clinton twnsp for the Wild game????

Bummer... being from Milwaukee I don't get the chance very often...

I was there with a friend of mine and my brother who lives around the corner to watch the game (We sat to the left when you walk in by the score board with the 4 lights on it).

Oh well...

Can't make it to this one, will be in Mich again for games on the 7th, 10th, 27th and 29th... of course in those cases I will be at the games...

I can't make this one. Not only is it the day after my birthday but I'm flying out to Boston to hang with some friends for the week. sad.gif

A new Lemieux-McCarty fight, as seen by internet forum posters.

Lemieux cheapshots a player with his walker, drawing the ire of D-Mac, who hobbles over. They draw their canes, salute, and cross them, then proceed to repeatedly whack eachother over the heads while hanging onto the bench with their other hands for balance. D-Mac then hits Lemieux's hip, which gives out, Lemieux feebly falls to the ground, crumpling as D-Mac continues to land barely noticeable Yoda-esque cane strikes. Lemieux's age begins catching up to him, crying "what a world, what a world..!" as he melts into a puddle of goo.

lol. I think it's safe to say we will not be on that side again and she will not be our waitress again! Glad you showed up last time, it was nice to meet you. We have a nice little core of LGWrs showing up to these. If work changes you know where we'll be!

Had a great time! In attendance were: hockey&beer, stellargirl21, Rivalred, Mrs. HOCKEY MATTERS and myself. Had a really good waitress, good seats and plenty of cowbwell! Thanks Rr. The Wings won, and the only drawback was I couldn't get anyone to join me in singing when the filet-o-fish song came on.
