So who will be our enforcer now?

Kopecky?

Looks a bit hopeless, doesn't it?

Hopefully if our guys get run or cheapshotted Kokopuffs will step in, but I'm not holding my breath. I guess the best we can hope for is that the power play will be our enforcer.

In other words: :crybaby: We are so screwed.

I hope Lilja gets healthy... the Wings need him for the playoffs. He's been playing very well. However, I am happy that a way was provided to keep Erickson in the lineup. I think if given a chance, he could provide a Helm-like presence to the team this coming playoff season.

<_<well maybe if he could fight ,this woulda never happend. the pain train is no more.lol

get well soon dick head.

Stupid post.

Are you saying that Sheldon Souray, Jared Boll, Chris Neil, Dion Phaneuf and Steve Begin can't fight either? Lilja did well against all those guys.

I'm tired of people posting retarded s*** like this. You make it sound like no great fighter ever lost a fight in the NHL. Some fan you are dogging the only guy on his team who was willing to drop the gloves. Go watch a basketball game or something.

Probably Lebda. I think Babcock starts with the experienced player and if he's not doing what he needs to be done, Ericsson comes in.

All this will do is bolster the notion that the Wings are soft and you must pound on them to win. One punch takes out one of our best PKers for 10 games. One hit takes out Lids for a while last year. Hossa hit twice, out twice for extended periods. You think teams won't try this s*** in the playoffs? I hope we can match.

apparently a few people have never been in a fight or around people that do, because on any given fight someone can land a "lucky" blow that knocks someone else stupid. Either way at least he stood up for himself, it's not like he figured these would be the results.

It's not like Lidstrom took only one hit last year and was injured, or that Hossa has been hit only twice all season and is hurt both times (and one was a freak thing anyways), or that Lilja get injured every time he fights. It's a physical game and injuries are bound to happen. I hope other teams try to pound the Wings because I think they will step up like last year and show that they are NOT intimidated and will give it back just as much, both with hitting and with outplaying/outscoring the opponent.

Don't ever fight again Lilja! Get Well.

He probably won't fight again. I wonder if coming back from an ass-kicking is different from returning after other injuries...will he shy away from contact?
