Jasper84 333 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 Is it just me or did that arena look wider then a normal NHL arena? I don't get to catch many games other then NHL, so I don't know if that's normal.

MacK_Attack 108 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 That loss for Denver puts prized NCAA free agent Tyler Bozak on the market. I would imagine he'll be signing with somebody in the next few days.
Mike 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 Can you believe that the Wolverines got bounced in the first round by Air Force?
HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 It sure is something. I love that Minnesota- Duluth tied the game with 0.8 left in the game then won it in Overtime!! Go North Dakota, up 4-3.
HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 Holy crap! Minnesota-Duluth tied in with 0.8 left to send it into OT! New Hampshire just did it with 0.1...0.1!!! To send it into OT!!! This is why I love college hockey!
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 I was watching the ND-UNH game for lack of anything else better to do... Although it was preempted by seven overtimes of lacrosse, itself a mutant form of field hockey I was somewhat fascinated by. Something seemed off in the college game, it occurred to me there was no idiotic trapezoid along the goal line, a nice change of scenery.
HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 Yes, that trapezoid is not there and I don't get why the NHL put it in there. If you haven't notice most of the rules are the same as NHL, like the icing and no line change. The only thing is if you shot it out of play you don't get a penalty. Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 Bucci and Barry also mentioned how any contact with a skate is a no-goal, as opposed to the "distinct kicking motion" NHL rules.
HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 New Hampshire wins in OT 45 seconds in! Same thing as Minnesota- Duluth score in OT to win! Maybe if you score under a second left to tie you win in OT? Yeah, something else I notice is that Bucci and Barry miss pronounce so many names. If the NHL comes back to ESPN I don't want it to, if they miss pronounce names the whole game.
Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 Bucci and Barry also mentioned how any contact with a skate is a no-goal, as opposed to the "distinct kicking motion" NHL rules. I wouldn't mind that.
HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 I wouldn't mind that. I think it would make the NHL better.

This is why I love college hockey! Duluth was actually behind by two with about twenty seconds left and still won it in over time. They were the play in team in the WCHA Final Five, and they won all those games to win the WCHA. So, they are on a roll.
