I know what you're saying. It's sort of half-assing it by the official in that type of situation. Like when they call off a goal because of goaltender interference but don't penalize the player who interfered with the goalie. It's like a way of saying, "This call probably isn't that strong, so rather than rub salt in the wound by putting you shorthanded, we'll just waive off the goal and split the difference."

nah, while Conklin has played better than Ozzie this season, I still trust Ozzie more in the playoffs. Now if Ozzie starts sucking it up in the playoffs, go to Conks.

I think the whole Ozzie situation is funny. The wings team as a whole have rarely been "on" Its seams more often than not people are complaining about our defense and what not, but yet no one calls to trade our whole D unit. Even Lidstrom has been off this season. But when its Ozzie whos off, everyone goes into fits. I have no reason NOT to believe Ozzie, as well as the rest of the team will play their best in the playoffs, and until then, I will continue to believe such.

Jeff Daniels(from Chelsea, MI) had a song for the tigers i think 2 years ago that wasn't bad...
