Goals: 9-0 Shots: 57-12 Unbelievable. yeah, i just checked the box score of that game...that has got to be the most one sided game of the season. i think powerplays were like 10-1 in favor of carolina as well. sheesh. i know it seems ridiculous the outcome of those two games (us vs the island and tonight's game) but you have to imagine that the isles were playing really, really hard the night they beat us and tonight were absolutely not playing at all. there's no way a team gets beaten that badly unless they are absolutely not even trying. Montreal has the tougher schedule, but I think they pull it off. Boston has their spot locked up and I think Pitt will too if they win tonight, which looks likely, so both teams will not be playing as hard. Who knows with the way this season has gone. The young players on that team have worked so damn hard to make the playoffs, they're just coming up short towards the end. It's too bad, though, because they could be a good team in the future if they keep a certain free agent defenseman this summer and manage to continue cultivating and retaining talent. Put Z+D together to handle the Getzlaf line, and let Hossa and the secondary dismantle the Ducks, I dont fear JS Giguere or Jonas Hiller, at our best, if we get that, we'll decimate Anaheim.
