Ozzie looks great. Our offense is doing a lot of good things, but I think they need to simplify it a bit.

I wasn't too happy with our defense that period. Its nothing like it was last playoffs. We're lucky Columbus is a piss poor offensive club.

LOVED the intensity from the Red Wings. You can definitely tell we've got experience with this & we know the feeling all too well.

Now we're owed tons of power plays. And any Blue Jackets fan who DOESN'T think they go away with murder (because we all know they're reading this) is just plain wrong. CBJ has had multiple power plays, no goals, and when it's 5-on-5 we're pressing their net like it's life or death.

Not to jinx it: But if we don't win this, it's because of the refs.. because it's definitely not that team.

watching on hocksytreams.com ---anyone know why the HQ stream (VS) compared to the HD (FSN) stream is so much better as far as crowd goes? I mean the HQ sounds like its the Bell Center, the HD sounds flat. yet obviously the video is way better on the HD streams

Very entertaining hockey. Great crowd. Man, I love the playoffs.

If the Wings can stay out of the box, I like their chances. Frankly, they're lucky to be scoreless at this point. A Columbus goal in that first period would have given them all kinds of life and confidence. I'll take 0-0 after one.

Osgood was sensational. He was always in position, played with a little bit of swagger and looked very similar to the goalie we saw in last year's playoffs.

Great stuff, really.

Can the NHL make it any more obvious that they're against Detroit making it back to the cup? My God. Seriously. I try not to go out of my way to ***** about the refs, but they make it so hard for me to avoid it.

With that said, it looks to me like Columbus can't handle Detroit 5 on 5 and Detroit started really coming on once all the PK was done.

Yeah Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie. Like I've said for a long, long time, Osgood knows how to make it happen when it counts. There's absolutely NO WAY he'd have the numbers and Cups he does over such a long career if not. He's looked great tonight. It's ok because I mother ******* agree with you. Holmstrom gets analed in front of Mason but then we step in front of a guy and get interference. Plus, Columbus keeps charging Ozzie and punching our players after the whistle.

Perhaps the way to be a "model franchise" is to get the refs to favor struggling markets?

As far as the refs go, it will be like last year, call all the stupid crap on the Wings and the other team gets away with murder.

SCF Game 6 Datsyuk tripped leaving the zone, no call.

The NHL does not want the Wings to win the cup this year.

I'm not sure if the refs were THAT bad. I would have liked a call on the stuff on Holmstrom in front of the net, but that's all I ca really think of. It seemed all of our penalties were fairly legit.

It might be because Fox Sports HD does not transmit their audio in 5.1.
