Enormous. Definitely the save of the game, and my personal save of the playoffs thus far. That was an amazing save.

It was a spectacular save, but as always with those kinds of saves I feel it's more lucky and more of a miss by the shooter than skill by the goalie.

The Lundqvist toe-save off a deflection in Game 7 against the Caps is still my favorite save of the playoffs.

I think it was just good defense by Caps. Caps... Defense... Odd, but if Poti didn't get his stick in the way then Crosby would've had room to elevate. Moving as fast as he was with Poti in his space, Sid got off the best shot he could and Varlamov had the desperation to keep it out of the net. I guess you could say that it's lucky that it all worked out like that but I think it was just good defense.

I can't deny there was quite a bit of luck involved in the save, but I felt Varlamov had overplayed the first player (don't remember who) and then made up for it by giving his all, and diving back to make the save on Crosby, and I think that's why I liked it so much. He shouldn't have been able to make that save. By all accounts, that should have been a goal, but it wasn't. It was huge for the Caps momentum.

The Lundqvist save was spectacular though. Can't deny that either.

Watching all this hockey today really makes me miss the Wings when they are not playing. I cannot wait until tomorrow.

I just watched the recaps of the Pens-Caps games and HOLY HELL. That Varlamov save was huge.

Let me just say - I HATE it when people call hockey moments "the best," because thats a purely subjective term, but damn if that save wasn't as close as it gets to the best I've seen in YEARS, I dont know what else is.

That was effing nuts. Nothing overrated about it, either.

Hawks/'Nucks game starting off strong.

I'd like to see this go to 7 OTs

And Nucks going to the PP, stupid delay of game penalty. I hate the puck over the glas penalties.

Aaannnd the Canucks score like, thirty seconds into it. 1-0 Canucks.
