BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 Quenneville teams are typically vulnerable with the lead. Interesting to see how they handle this.

wmubronco420 25 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 hawks are finally looking really good in this 2nd period, they still need to stay out of the box though. Please let this game go to OT, ive been craving some overtime but someone always pulls some last minute heroics to ruin my fun.
Mike 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 So... Are the Hawks still the worst team in the playoffs right now? It took them over a game and a half to get their first lead of the series. I'd still say yes.
dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 So... Are the Hawks still the worst team in the playoffs right now? No, now they're the best team in the playoffs and look super scary and will beat the Wings in the WCF.
Vincanni 1 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 So... Are the Hawks still the worst team in the playoffs right now? I was premature with my comment as I said it a whole 68 minutes into the series and the Hawks are definitely turning it around. However, let's see how things unfold now that the Canuck's have some dander and aren't just playing not to lose sitting on their lead.

Wingsallwin 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 Like to give credit to the Hawks who are playing better, but they also benefited heavily from the Canucks sitting on a lead and some curious calls in their favor. Either way this game's turned spectacular. 'Couver PP coming up. I think that is the kind of play you should not play in the playoff. If you lay back down, there is ton of chance to be beaten up. It does not matter who is playing good or who is playing bad. If you make one atrocious mistake, that changes the all momentum. The problem is that even though Luongo made some sensational saves like he made by a stick, the Canucks still lay back and not being motivated. If you give any benefit to other teams, you receive tons of chances to be beaten up.

Vincanni 1 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 Who else is hoping for an epic 69 OT game tonight? I know I am! This I would enjoy, but ultimately I'll take the assurance of going to sleep knowing this series is tied and not going to be another Vancouver sweep.
