When I was a girl, we weren't allowed to wear jeans to school, so we got out of having to wear dresses or polyester by wearing cords. They rubbed together when you walked and if you were rotund, they wore out between the legs really fast, but before they did, they made an annoying rubbing sound.) Parachute pants or painter pants?
