hockeysattva 8 Report post Posted May 22, 2009 Abe is credited with it here: http://www.quoteworld.org/authors/abraham-lincoln Who knows? It probably wouldn't have been above him to steal it from someone else. (Proverb 17:21-28) He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy. A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment. Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth. A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him. Also to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity. He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit. Both are slightly different: "Better to be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt." -Samuel Clemmens (aka Mark Twain) "Its better to be thought a fool rather than to speak up and remove all doubt." - Lincoln and other sources: It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt . -- George Eliot The Foolish Monkey by Cam Watkins Once upon a time, there was a colony of monkeys living in the jungle. One paticular monkey was thought to be a fool, because he never talked. One day, the lion called a meeting of all the beasts of the jungle. The Lion opened the meeting by asking a question. The monkey immediately sat up and stated his opinion, and removed all doubt. Moral: Better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. But, the quotes has very very little to do with the likelihood that Datsuk will play which is extremely likely.

It probably wouldn't have been above him to steal it from someone else. I think it's based on a saying from Hávamál. But that doesn't really matter... Maltby is definitely playing, and probably Leino too (over Abdelkader). I don't mind Leino starting on the 4th line with Draper and Maltby, so that he can be eased in, but I suspect that Babcock will give him some action on higher lines. Though the best case scenario will be that Datsyuk returns.
