Huds is only 5'10" with skates on while standing tippy-toe to deliver a check. You can find old newspaper articles online where Wings management admit he's just barely 5'8".

Anyone got video of this?

But he scores and makes plays like a 6'3" 220 lb power forward...

Please, explain. Once you are kicked out, you are out for good. You can't come back in. If it is sarcasm, just ignore.

You can get multiple penalties in a single play, just like you can get two separate penalties at one time (i.e. a hooking penalty, followed by a slashing penalty, followed by an instigator, a fighting major, 10-min. misconduct, a major penalty for cross-checking, match penalty, game misconduct).

I could care less, Wings just need to take out the trash and win game 5. There's no message sending for later on in the series when your ass is out of the playoffs at the end of the game.

Agreed. The best thing the Wings can do is end this thing on Wednesday and send the Blackhawks to the golf course on Thursday morning. Message sent.

How does that indicate that you can get two game misconducts in one game? If you are talking about both refs giving a misconduct call at the same time, they only count one. You can only get kicked out of a game once.

It doesn't say in the rules whether or not you can get two in a game, but let's say you were the third man in a fight and then spit on someone (both are specifically mentioned in the rules as game misconducts.) I don't see why they wouldn't give you two, when you did two things to earn it.

I mean what if you are assessed two match penalties, or penalties both warranting game misconducts on the same play (i.e. end of the period).

Okay. I am sort of seeing where you are going here, but I still believe out of everything you would still get one game misconduct. You would be thrown out of that game. The league could come in later and suspend you for more, but you can only get the one game misconduct per game.

This should settle it:

No points for guessing who, of all players, pulled this off.
