Theophany 110 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 Well then I guess that says even less about the guys he knocked down then doesn't it? Not really. It's pretty hard to stay on your feet when you get hip-checked if you're trying to play the puck on the boards. You should probably look at Stuart's hit on Umberger and Kronwall's hit on Havlat if you want to see big clean hits.

We have 3 guys with more energy that check like that now... Helm, Abs and Stuart. KronWALL on the other hand DESTROYS other players. Snazzy 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 Hey so is tonight's game a sellout yet? Did Penguins file bankruptcy yet? Oh wait... Well at least Hossa was smart enough to bolt from that clueless organization.
Theophany 110 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 Hey so is tonight's game a sellout yet? You realize that the only reason that it was news that we didn't sell out a game last season is because it hadn't happened in like 3 years, right? Making yourself look like more of an idiot as you go...
Ms_Hockey 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 Hey so is tonight's game a sellout yet? Actually, every playoff game thus far has been sold out. They announce it before each game. They also have to put folding chairs in the standing areas and temporary seating about 3/4 of the way down the aisle to fit everybody who buys tickets. Detroit experienced an 11-year sellout streak that ended in 2007.. and since then, we've never fallen below #7 on that list. So while you may see some empty seats, that's partially due to the fact that the Wings have one of the highest season ticket holder percentages. Whether or not people are in those seats - the tickets have been sold.
redwings4life 3 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) actually if the Red Wings had the stadium size of the Pens they would have sold out every single game for the past few years. Lets look at the facts your stadium has a capacity of 16,975, Joe Louis Arena has a capacity of 19,865 and has a 99 % attendace rating which means the stadium was filled to 99% capacity for the regular season so 99% of 19,865 is 19,666 which is almost 3000 more fans than your stadium has anyway, your stadium has a 102.6 attendance rating which means you have on average 17,416.35 fans. So in the worst economy in the United States we still sell more seats than you do in pittsburgh. So try using some facts next time Source Edited May 30, 2009 by redwings4life
