pjgj13 30 Report post Posted June 1, 2009 I moved back to the area near the beginning of the season and I thought they had it last year. If they do have it, when will they announce it?
HankZetty 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2009 They used to have it during every away playoff game...but now they won't have it unless it is a clinching game. So maybe on Thursday. Tickets wouldn't go on sale till Wednesday at 3pm. And they are still only $5. I used to go all the time and was there for a lot in 1997 and 1998. 1998 was sold out when we won it was awsome. I was there last year for game 6...it was like 3/4 empty but still fun. If we have it on Thursday I will defantley be there.

Hockeytown_Ryan 122 Report post Posted June 1, 2009 (edited) I want to go too... If its a clincher Ill bring My Stanley Cup It might get taken tho..heh heh heh Saw this on MLIVE tho According to the Red Wings' website, the team will officially hold "viewing parties" for Games 3 and 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals at the Hockeytown Cafe and the Post Bar in Novi, respectively. I guess that means no "Joe Vision." Also, for the record: The league released its game notes for Game 3, and Paul Devorski and Dennis LaRue will referee the game, with Derek Amell and Pierre Racicot. HadThomasVokounOnFortSt 878 Report post Posted June 1, 2009 How come when the Wings have a home game they don't set up a big screen outside the rink for people to watch?
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted June 1, 2009 How come when the Wings have a home game they don't set up a big screen outside the rink for people to watch? because we wouldn't stoop the level of the Pengiuns!!!!!!! that would be too much electricity and they would have to raise ticket prices 500% not just 400%

OsGOD 3 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 (edited) How could it? once they built it the viewing parties have been there for road games. just like tomorrow and possibly thursday if they lose tomorrow. and all the fans that went to joeVISION can not fit inside the cafe. and it totally isn't the same experience as viewing a game from inside the arena Edited June 2, 2009 by OsGOD
