10 Minute Misconduct 104 Report post Posted June 1, 2009 Yup, Pen's s*** the bed here. Wings were dead tired last night, and who could blame them. Back to back games and they couldn't come away with a split! I won't say i'm nervous, but i'd like a split in Pitts. Although the longer the series goes it favours us now. I mean I'll take 5 or 6 and as long as I can go into a coma for Game 7 and wake up with Detroit as Champions again I'll take a Game 7. But defintley perfer 4 or 5. HankZetty 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 Ii started getting a soar throat around noon saturday...by satruday nite I felts horrible and sunday it was a full blown out cold. Yesterday I must have slept 18 hrs at least and still had huge black rings under my eyes. Still got a stuffy nose/cough/soar throat today. But feeling a little bit better. I swear the wings made me sick cuz I'm so nervous. But I believe in my boys and we got this. We won June 4th last year and I feel June 4th will be the magical day again this year. I hope this will be all for nothing and the Detroit Red Wings will win soon so I can feel better. I they do, then will shut your scared little mouths, change your little urine stained pink panties and grow a set of balls? Dynheart 42 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 I'm not worried. Why? Osgood, that's why. This man is on a mission is all I can say. Osgood is just plain weird for a goaltender. He either plays really bad or elite level. We all know what he's capable of, and in this play-off run...he's showing that he's once again "the man". I say the wings split at the igloo. talex 1 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 (edited) Man, Gloom and Doom. The only way the Wings loose this series if the NHL is now the WWF with scripted outcomes flat out, no way unless it is rigged. We are up 2-0, which is the best you can be at this point. That's a 97% if you catch the stat in other posts, The Wings looked a little slow at times sure, but so did the Pens, the Wings are the Champs, they held regardless of being a little slow at times and as far as being out shot, it was not like it was a blow out and the Wings had some good opportunities that did not find the net either. We just got a day of rest and thus far the Pens clearly cannot handle our Black Aces and there is no sign of that slowing down at all and Ozzie is on fire... I am not saying the Pens are a bad team, but the Wings are to good to loose 4 of 5, hell our best players have not even started to light it up yet... I am very comfortable with the Wings in 5, but a sweep in not unlikely. For those of you that just cannot shake the feeling of Gloom and Doom...
