40#1Fan 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 Q. Has Draper been cleared to play by doctors and if so, will he play tonight? COACH BABCOCK: Yeah, he was cleared before last game. Don’t know if he’ll play tonight. It will be based on Samuelsson. Samuelsson didn’t take the morning skate, so we’ll see what happens there. Q. Second injury, we just saw Pavel out on the ice. Just your thoughts on him and how does he look today? COACH BABCOCK: Well, I guess he had his best overnight experience that he’s had. And he seemed to have a big turn around. So he was real optimistic here today. I don’t assume that affects today’s game whatsoever, but it could really affect the following game.

edicius 3,269 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 Wonder what happened to Sammy. He's been a force out there lately. If he's out, however, the trade off for Drapes' faceoff skill is acceptable.

Dimaline312000 51 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 I'd love to see Dats back for Game 4 I'd love it even more if he could come back for Game 3 as long as he is able. Not that the Wings need a change but he may provide a boost that a tired team may need to make a stronger push. Let's Go Detroit Red Wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! flip 5 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 He's OUT. No more Datsyuk talk until next year. The Wings are rolling. Why change the pattern? Rolling by getting out-shot each game and rescued by the post five or six times? I'd want Datsyuk back for his defensive prowess alone.

BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 To bring in a top player in the NHL is worthy of a lineup change. Why are some people so clueless? That came from the same idiot who refers to Holmstrom as "ninety=sux", I'd just consider the source.
