Slave 31 Report post Posted July 8, 2009 was just checking out the mcfarlane figures and hoping there would be some wings added so i can expand my collection, and under series 23 there is a picture of Osgood, so i am guessing he is finally gonna get his due in the action figure world Pity no Hossa in a Wings uniform even if he was only here a year, they are doing a sundin in vancouver so not sure why detroit has not been feeling the love lately but oh well, having an osgood will be cool. The funny part is based entire on the title of this thread I guessed you were talking about the new action figure. I was so annoyed that they did a figure of Ozzy in an Islanders uniform but didn't do a Wings variant. Lucky for us they decided to do one now I'm still annoyed that the Yzerman with Cup figure is nearly impossible to find but there are 7 million Gretzky figures, and at least 2 or 3 of every star player on a Canadian team. They really need to re-release the Yzerman figure with an updated Cup. The original figure's Stanley Cup was just plain gray, but the newer Messier figure comes with a chrome style finished cup with simulated writing around the bands and proper detail on the top and bottom. I think I have virtually every single figure from the first series. It is weird not seeing logos on any of the jerseys. I would like an Osgood Isles one, just to add variety. Right on the skate where the pin comes out to secure it to the base - the blade portion of Stevie's skate (along with the pin) just totally separated. Only McFarlane figure I've had a problem with. I've got the Isles Ozzie figure too and I'm hoping this isn't just a redeco. It's funny when I think of all the McFarlane figs I have and how many of those players are either no longer Wings or retired - Yzerman (redeco with logo and the aforementioned Cup raising release), Shanny, Hull, Cheli, Lang, Cujo (have him in Leafs gear too, in addition to the one in the boxed set), Hasek. And, of course, Mr. Hockey. Only active roster guys I have left are Hank, Pavel and Lids. And sadly, I still haven't been able to unpack any of them from when I moved into our new house back in December. But if the new Ozzie's a new mold, I'm definitely getting him.
