Buppy 1,720 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 Freak accident or has Burke gone all the way off the deep end and equipped his players with Scythes instead of sticks? Seriously though, tough break for Markov and the Habs. They were a fringe playoff team with Markov, if he misses 2/3rds of the season they may not have a chance. kidish 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 I think he collided with his own goalie, according to TSN. Maybe I mis-read that though. Real tough break for the Habs. I hope they lose to my Leafs, but not through injury.

CenterIce 83 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 I was watching the game, and this type of injury was my first thought, when I saw the play. Price's skates got wrapped around Markov's leg, and his leg slide over one of the skates.
