RedFlag85 33 Report post Posted October 28, 2009 Well, the title says it. Assuming Nashville doesn't work anything out, Rinne will be an UFA after this season. What are your opinions on picking him up, for say two years at 4 to 4.5 per year?
Guest mindfly Report post Posted October 28, 2009 He's still a bit unproven, 4.5M is too much, 3.5 absolute max...

Howard just doesnt look ready to be an NHL goalie and Osgood is having another rough start the goaltending situation will need to be addressed sooner than later
eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted October 30, 2009 You mean last year's "Should-have-won-the-Calder" goaltender? Nashville won't be giving him up anytime soon.

skyphoenix 153 Report post Posted October 31, 2009 Why you would pass on Rinne when we have Osgood and Howard is beyond me. Rinne might be unproven in the playoffs but he stepped up last year and was a pivotal part on Nashvilles team when Dan Ellis was horrid. I actually have him on my team in NHL10
