Rivalred 630 Report post Posted November 1, 2009 The three stars were Datsyuk, Bourque and Kiprusoff?? Not that any of them had a bad game, but in a Wings 3-1 win it seems like some odd choices. I thought Stuart had a great game and deserved mention, if not #1 star. And while Bourque had a good game for Calgary, he took a bad penalty in the offensive zone late in the third period that was sort of the nail in the coffin for Calgary. not a huge deal. Just seemed like odd selections. Maybe the whole thing with Bourque leading his team in what points (?) may of had something to do with the selection. Stuart had a great game, no doubt. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted November 1, 2009 Great game last night. Loved seeing all the cocky flames fans go home empty handed. Stuart and Abdelkader really had good games, Datsyuk was solid, and Holmstrom has the worst slapshot in the NHL Had tons of fun, nothing like a Halloween hockey game where your team wins, not to mention I got to see the Wings best game so far this season live

GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted November 2, 2009 (edited) Zetterberg needs to get some goals. While I agree we need Z to score more goals, I thought Z was easily the Red Wings best forward last night. He looked much quicker and stronger on the puck than any other game so far this season. If he keeps up his aggressiveness in the offensive zone, the goals will come. Edited November 2, 2009 by GoWings1905
