Datsasuk 2 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 Biron would be a good addition and i dont believe he can ask for too much money considering hes not really a prime starter these days.
SliderJeff 11 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 Then what would he do waive Howard for nothing? Howard had no options this year it's NHL or bust. Obviously, Holland isn't going to choose to lose a player for nothing(Quincey), especially with the potential that Howard has. Howard has value still. To say your point can't be argued is hilarious to me, your like a little kid that thinks Batman could beat up Superman and refuses to think otherwise. Batman can't beat up Superman?!??!? Actually, Batman has a Kryptonite ring ready to use against Supes if he ever "goes bonkers". Badda bing. Badda boom. Bats downs Supes. End of story, ohhhhh! What were we talking about? mmamolo 287 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 ^ Agreed AND i do not want to dig it up but at the start of last season I believe Holland said they wanted to focus on moving Meech exclusively to defense. I think the point was that Meech has the capabilities to play both forward and defence

He would be on several teams that lack goaltending depth.
Datsasuk 2 Report post Posted November 13, 2009 If I were Garth Snow, I'd hang on to Biron for awhile. They have plenty of cap space, and Dipietro is bound to get hurt again. I heard talk in the off season that he was considering retirement if he can't get healthy. Although, I can't argue that he would be a good fit here. He's a solid guy in small doses. Miller Brew 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2009 How many good players full of potential that had injury problems and were bought out and are already being paid by the bruins so is willing to take a one year deal to try to re-establish themselves in the league... There aren't very many... You would be hard pressed to find another player as good as Eaves, with as much potential as Eaves, for the same price as Eaves...
