Driving the net in overtime against Colorado, he lost an edge and crashed into Craig Anderson, who laid motionless in his net for several minutes before being assisted off the ice and replaced by Peter Budaj. Thanks for clearing that up, I'm convinced a lot of people like to use that word but don't know what it actually means. I feel bad for Ballard, everybody's calling him an idiot but I've seen countless players swing their sticks in frustration after a goal. Plus he has the added insult of being forever subjected to reruns of clips of it on crap like "best damn zaniest this or thats" .... Kinda like poor Patrik Stefan.
