titanium2 867 Report post Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) He's a good player. Team Canada only has so many forward spots though. Nash-Crosby-Iginla Heatley-Getzlaf-Carter Smyth-Toews/Staal-St. Louis Morrow-Richards-Doan Staal could be the third line center. I personally prefer Toews though. EDIT: I considered Stevie's statements last year about having a team that can protect a lead as well as build it. It would be nice to have him, for sure; we'd be able to play him or Filppula as second line center and allow Datsyuk and Zetterberg to play on the first line. He's not an AO he can't put a team on his shoulders and go with it. But if you give him the right cast he's clutch beyond words,...ask marty broduer.
