Know I wasn't alive then. Try 10 years later. And, yes, in all the days that Bill Wirtz owned the 'Hawks, life was pretty miserable in the Windy City (except for 1992), but those days are over and after last season, I actually have some hope as a 'Hawks fan. I honestly think that this team can be very good for a long time to come.

That's what Hawks fans said during the heyday of Eric Daze.

Just like you I watch the games which puts revenue in the league's pockets. This allows the players to command ridiculous salaries. I'm by no means a delusional nut, but fans are just as much "part of the team" as the players are.

So yeah, sometimes I'll use we in my posts.

Hey, welcome to the bandwagon, Hawks fans!

Who's going to score these goals, though?

This lineup is pathetic. We have 3 checking lines.

Don't get me wrong, I agree our lineup is weak as hell atm. But you can only expect so much outta the Detroit Griffins. I personally think they're doing great by just not being blown out every game.

We're only down 2-0 ...

And they are insulting us by putting their backup goalie in ... but we still can't score

AND putting Kopeckey on the first unit PP. They're completely ******* with us.

Why is Howard laying face down in his crease facing the other way?

Moron.

he thought Lebda was going to bail him out like he did on the previous shift(get your pvr's ready), of course that kind of thing doesn't happen more than once a game, if not season.

Howard isn't the type of goalie who recovers and makes desperation saves, he is the type who commits his life to the puck carrier, plays the shot, and relies on the team to disrupt any and all passes while he takes his sweet time to get off his arse. Whatever works I guess.

If all these injuries tell us anything about our team its that, We will be in great shape defensively when everyone is back. Our offense will have more firepower than ever this year. I think down the stretch, we will end up being a team to try to beat.

Actually, for your information, I've been a Blackhawk fan since the late-80's, so I am the furthest thing from a 'bandwagon' fan.

Yet you only decide to show up on the rare occasions where Chicago is actually beating Detroit.

What a classy fan you are.
