Guest Lidstromboli Report post Posted January 11, 2010 So I guess Parise, Kane, and Kessel are scoring every goal for us eh? I like all those players on there except for Kane. They will have to play some stingy defense to win though. all the players with 10+ goals not to mention they have some great setup guys like Stastny and and Pavelski at center
HockeytownRules19 902 Report post Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) From ctvolympics.ca : How the heck isn't Rafi at least an Alternate Captain! What a joke... Oh well, still go USA Baby! Edited January 11, 2010 by HockeytownRules19
Russian Houdini 8 Report post Posted January 11, 2010 It's maybe weak for some.. but I will be cheering USA all the way come the Olympics. If the juniors surprised everyone why not the seniors? I know it's asking for too much but it would be amazing. However for me, it is between Russia and Canada. I know the Russian defense is a little weak but I see their offense taking over. Sweden is another team, but I can see the U.S. getting the bronze. I am also curious to see the Czechs.
Guest Lidstromboli Report post Posted January 30, 2010 not taking Connolly seems like a pretty weak move now then again at the time of the decisions his play wasn't too good
cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 From Toronto Star : Mike Komisarek received some unfortunate news Saturday night that will almost certainly end his hopes of competing in the Vancouver Olympics with Team USA. The big Leafs defenceman's injured shoulder will keep him sidelined up to another seven days – a span that will push him past a deadline to prepare for the Games. Leafs and Team USA general manager Brian Burke has said Komisarek – out since Jan.2 with his injury – would need to play in at least five games in advance of the Olympics. Komisarek missed his 14th game Saturday night and will likely miss at least two more, possibly three, if he is unable to play for another seven days. ... VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 That is not a very good Olympic team. Russia and Canada would have a field day playing against them. Miller might be able to keep them in competition longer than they really should, though. Who knows, maybe they'll have enough heart to win...but looking at that team, I don't see a whole lot of heart.

Johnny Diamonds 25 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 (edited) WIth Martin still out we may have a worse defense than the Russians and less offensive talent obviously. It would be the miracle on ice pt. 2 if they were to pull this off. Edited January 31, 2010 by Johnny Diamonds
