Anyone ever get a jersey from sportsk?

I see people with the fake winter classic jerseys at games all the time and they are reallllly obvious. They look like crap and stand out like a sore thumb, well atleast to me, I guess some people probabaly don't notice anything, but I think they are quite ugly in person.

Yeah, they're pretty obvious, especially if you can see them up close.

sportsk is absolutely phenomenal! They did my yzerman retro jersey and I've been completely satisfied with them. I will send my authentic winter classic there to have it customized soon.

Everyone I know who has used them for customization (owning their own jersey and shipping it to sportsk for the lettering/numbering) has been very pleased and has continued to use them since.

They are very helpful and if you have questions, pick up the phone and call them. They will clarify any step of the process to you.

I hate the fake WC jerseys and you can spot them a mile away.

Where is everyone getting these authentic WC jerseys from?

They were sold a month or two before the Winter Classic game on sites like shop.nhl.com and Fansedge. Sold out pretty quickly. I see they didn't offer them this year for the Boston Philly WC jerseys (at least not on shop.NHL.com).

I got mine off of fan's edge about a year ago. They had a discount deal so I bought it (and that's my last purchase ever from that company).

I doubt you will find them anywhere but Ebay now or specialty retailers where they've raised the price. Good luck though. My WC is my favorite jersey now. It's comfortable enough to sleep in!

I'm a bigger guy and I looked at their sizing chart. They list their chest sizes are bigger then the waist sizes for each jersey. I'm the other way around. Am I not going to be able to wear the new RBK jersey's. I have a NIKE from grade 8 like 10 years ago that still fits me but they were the baggy ones.

Just wonder if anyone could give me an idea what the fit of the Rbk jersey's are like?

My wife is 5'2, 120lbs and swims in a medium

I'm 6'0, 240 and swim in a XL.

They are also the ONLY place I've been able to find the rare white practice jersey from. I have the black one, but love the white one. I will order from them, as I have a replica that I practice in and it is just fine.

Really? I'm 6'0, 185 and an XL (equivalent of the 54 I wear) is perfect; big enough that I can wear pads with it and still have room to move.

Hey guys thanks a ton for all the responses! I'm definately going to get a jersey from there, now it is just a matter of what I want. Here's what I'm thinking:

Option 1: Send in my blank jersey and get it customized with Kronwall or Filppula

Then, I'm going to buy another jersey. I'm thinking Winter Classic either Franzen or Filppula

Can't really go wrong with any of those choices, they're all obviously going to be around the D for a while.

that is usually my thought process when looking for a jersey. Dont wanna spend 150 bucks on a jersey only to have the player skip town right?

The premier WC jerseys are not that great IMO. I ordered one from shop NHL and it was a waste of money. I am assuming the premier WC jerseys that sportsK sells are the same.

no no no. they are much better. they use the same numbers and lettering used on authentic jerseys, not the replicas.

Seeing these WC jerseys with correct lettering makes me upset Jersey City misled me when they said they'd do them like that too (it ended up being the regular font). I mean it's not a huge deal but I strive for authenticity if I can.

It wasn't the numbers and lettering that bothered me. It was the material that the jersey was made out of. It was cheap, thin and see through.

That's correct.. Sportsk never got the authentic Winter Classic jerseys..only the replica/premiers.

This is kinda true, but kinda false.

The lettering and numbers will be real tackle twill, but the rest of the jersey will still be the cheap premier stuff.

Which for $98 ($128 customized) is a pretty slick deal, TBH. Especially since you're looking at paying over $400 for a WC authentic if you actually can find one (I haven't seen any on eBay since I bought mine in November).

Most of what I hate about the premier jerseys are the s***ty NHL.com lettering (name plate and s***ty material), so SportsK is infinitely better, though still not the quality that an authentic gets you.

How are the authentic jerseys compared to the replicas?

The replicas are a joke when compared to the authentic ones. It's like comparing a BMW 7 series to a Chevy Cobalt. The replicas feel cheap, the material is thin and they don't get the weight right. While the authentic costs more, you are getting a higher quality product that will last much longer. Make the investment and go authentic, you will not regret it.

300 dollars for a jersey is just not worth it to me. Replicas have held up well enough lol. Plus you could get two replicas for the price of 1 authentic.

$260 including tax for a customized authentic isn't exactly $300, but I see your point. To each his own. I for one will never buy another replica jersey. If I am going to spend some money I am going to get a high quality product.

I probably should have checked the sportsk price lol. I googled red wings authentic jerseys and saw 299.99.
