If David Backes is rotating his spot on any line with some other shmuck (i.e. Drury, Callahan) then something is seriously wrong. Backes has been USA's best player thus far and he will play a key role in Sunday's game against the Canadians.

As I said last game, Datsyuk isn't used to not having the puck. Both Ovechkin and Semin are puckhogs.

With that said, Pavel has to be more aggressive and start showcasing his skill set. It's like he's too humble to try and take over out there with all that talent around him.

Yeah, I think Russia's biggest enemy right now is the amount of egos they have in the locker-room. The last game they played there was no chemistry on the ice, and everyone wanted to make that flashy move themselves and be the hero of the game.

I'm hoping this is Canada's problem too, and that they don't figure it out till they're flying home. I hope for quicker solutions for the Russkies.
