I couldn't watch the Canucks' game live and did a fast forward, to check it out. I deleted it before it was even over, somewhere after the fourth goal. Tonight's game was like night and day compared to that one. The Wings were swarming to the puck and around their opponents and played much more aggressively. Rafalski did not have a good night but most everyone else played great or at least OK. Some HUGE games coming up. (As if they aren't all from this point on...)

This summer Helm needs to seek out Joe Sakic and train his wrist shot for 12 hours a day. Helm could be such a weapon on this team if he had a good shot because he gets so many opportunities to get himself in the clear. It was awesome to see him finally get rewarded for all his work.

I just got back from the game, Wings looked great tonight. Helm was all over the ice. Very glad to see we didn't blow the lead.

You were there too??? So was I. We were sitting in section 110...Pasha scored that sweet goal right in front of us. I damn near jumped on that ice and kissed him for that one. That was sweet.

Yup.....agreed.

The amount of energy he brings to each game is fantastic. I like the chemistry that line brings to the game. It seems that I look forward to line changes just to get them on the ice. Even if they don't score you can tell it shakes the other team up just to see the speed and the "never give up on the puck" attitude.

You mean you didn't kiss him beforehand and that's why he gave you such a beauty of a goal to cheer about? If I can figure out how to post pics, I have a few from Wednesday's game of him up close that you might like.

For anyone else who was at the game, it was nice to see Dallas Drake on the scoreboard sitting with his family. Also, Mo Cheese was back!
