Happy Birthday Beast! Yeah he's the "defensive coach" but what does that really mean? I only know for sure that he runs drills. Does he decide which pairs go out at certain times? Dude - he's the guy who gets Kronwall/Ericsson to make all those bone-headed passes, and makes sure our Dmen swing their purses at the opposing forwards after they crash into Howard. I have no idea what his role as defensive coach would specifically be, but I would imagine it was last years potent offense that killed our defense last year rather than him.
