shoe 165 Report post Posted April 9, 2010 So for the past week and the rest of the month I have been working a shift from 4 p.m. - 2 am. I do have net access there but cant just sit infront of a computer and watch a feed,(i mean its work right) I tried to pick up the radio feed from 97.1 on my ipod touch through an internet radio broadcast app but it was dead, as were 3 other Michigan area sports stations. They recommended 2 stations in Ontario one in London the other in Chatham but they were both playing London Knights OHL games. I tried an espn radio station in Ohio it played about 2 seconds of audio then dead as well. I I tried itunes radio stations I got this commercial that said Canadians cant listen to American Radio stations over the net anymore as of Feb 2010 . when I tried to get the wings broadcast via 97.1. I also tried 97.1 s web site directly and got a pop up saying you cant listen your in Canada. I have a real problem with this I can surf american sites or japanese or Russian ore what ever other country they are from but I cant listen to live audio content that site provides, if I lived in Windsor I could tune into 97.1 just fine that would be living in Canada and listening to an American station. Something isn't right here. I finally found a video feed and just turned the screen off and let the audio play on the computer for the game. Anyone know of a Windsor, Sarnia Chatham, london sports station that has audio for wings games or a way around this for a poor old Canadian who dosnt want to miss any wings games while at work till this big rush is over that i have to work shifts for.
