The only reason the Coyotes nearly sold out this game was because they're playing the Wings, and the Wings have a large fan base across the country, but especially out west. Take the Baltimore Orioles in baseball for example. They can't sell out most home games, but if the Yankees or Red Sox come to town, it's standing room only. Both teams have large fan bases and will make the trek to see their games, no matter where they're playing.

Williams is getting so much of this pre-madonna bitching, and I don't get. He is our fourth line winger, who will probably manage a few goals with his ice-time, and its not like Abdelkader will come and net 10 for us. Its game 1, and we are up in arms about Williams? Im glad Howard is looking comfortable in there, the first goal he allowed was a deflection he had no chance on. Good to see the big guys stepping up early too, I predicted on another topic Holmstrom would get our first 2010 playoff goal. Except not like that top cheese he managed to pull off.
