That is funny because what I dislike most about living here is the weather. During the winter months, at least. I love Michigan in the summertime, especially northern Michigan. It is beautiful up there. Then again I grew up here, so I guess being sick of winter isn't all that surprising. Though being able to go skate and/or play hockey on the lake my cousins live on this winter was pretty fantastic :)

Ann Arbor is nice. A lot of the suburbs of Michigan are really nice. U of M is a good school. I was dead-set on moving away from here (I usually feel this way during the winter), but now that the weather is getting nicer, I'm not as enthusiastic about it. Plus, being within close proximity to the Joe and being able to go to Wings games is a big plus.

Yeah, if I was making a long-term commitment to moving there, I'd be a little more worried about how much I'd like the winters, but since it's just a few years, I think I'd get a bang out of it. That sounds like a dream come true for me - skating on a lake, out in nature where it's nice and quiet, and the trees are all blanketed in white...heaven! :)

Cool, I think I'd really like Ann Arbor. It's close enough to Detroit that you can go do big city stuff (like Wings games) without actually having to live in the city. I've had quite enough of big cities, that's for sure.

Wings come before everything. I missed my brothers funeral because i had wings tickets.

Really? Wow, man, now that is hardcore. Well, I guess if your brother was a Wings fan, too, he'd understand - I know I would! Sorry to hear about that, by the way.

I could never live in a big city. Ill take the suburbs any day.

Tell me about it. I am sick to death of the traffic, the smog, people with bad attitudes (and I swear it's directly related to the traffic...people walk around all day pissed about what happened during their morning drive), and having to drive 30 miles before you finally hit the country - and that's if you're driving east. If you're driving north from San Diego, where I live, you have to drive almost 150 mi to the northernmost part of L.A. before you hit open land (well, not counting the Marine base at the north end of SD county). It sucks.

Oh, thank god! I was gonna say, wow, man, your own brother? On the other hand, if I died and I had any siblings, and if they were Wings fans, I'd let them off the hook if they had playoffs tickets. Regular season, maybe not.

i would say scatter my ashes there. Then i could always be part of the Joe. Hopefully they never got a new arena though.

Lol, that would be kinda awesome, wouldn't it? But yeah, that'd definitely put a damper in the plans if they razed the place. I hope they don't get a new one, though. I know it's kind of old, but think of the history! I don't even care about the Yankees, but I was pretty bummed that they demolished the old Yankee Stadium.

Well, I think I better call it a night. Nice talking to you, and thanks for the opinions on the great state of MI!

should have started a new thread for this. lol but with those two flipped back it looks about right

96 (Homer) - 8 (Abdelkader) = 88

88 - 33 (Draper) = 55 (Kronwall to top pair)

55 - 3 (Lilja) = 52 (Ericsson)

The math tells me to put Kronner on the top pair and take E away from Lilja and Draper away from Homer and Abs.

Spooky huh?

Okay, so there are a bunch of real assholes on this site, because 1200+ have viewed this topic and only 200+ have replied.

Kudos to those who have replied and shown some sort of support for our boys, you are the true fans!

Through thick and thin, I will stick with this team. I have been a Red Wing fan since I can remember, and I will be one until I die. Sure there will be days like yesterday when I was frustrated beyond belief because they didn't show up when they needed to, but that's why it's a 7 game series, it's not over. Typically speaking, this is the type of team where when they get their asses kicked or embarrassed, especially come playoff time, they respond in a big way. I have to believe that is what will happen in Game 7.

This team IS the better team. They need to put together a 60 minute effort and be strong and own their own defensive zone, first and foremost. When they do that, they can't be stopped. I believe it will happen, and I have faith that we will be seeing San Jose or Chicago in the next round, later in the week.

Shame on all of you fans who passed up this support page. How long does it take you to just type, "Go Wings?"

Let's Go Red Wings!!!! One more win and then we'll get ready for the next matchup.
