Game 7 there mojo will be back

austin_powers.jpg

 I hope so, baby. I wonder if Datsyuk still has "I Feel Good" as his ringtone...if not, he should probably think about bringing it back. Nothing like James Brown to get the mojo flowing.

Detroit #1 Fan - yeah, wouldn't it be nice if our psychological problems worked both ways? Here's hoping the Yotes are the cockiest bastards of the century.

I definitely should be studying for my tests tomorrow.. but.. priorities are backwards and Wings > memorizing pregnancy and reproduction (ahh, anatomy and physiology II, I will NOT miss you). Goooooooooo Wings!! If I can pass A&P with an A (which I will), then you can win game 7 (which you will).

So for those of you who live in Michigan, how do you like it? I mean, obviously Detroit has its problems, but I'd really love to go to U. of Mich. in a year or so, and I hear Ann Arbor is a pretty nice place. What are your general impressions? I've been to a few Midwestern states (NE, SD, IA, KS), and I really liked how nice people were, so that's a big plus for me.

I'm a little concerned about the weather, but heck, I think a couple of snowy winters would be a blast - you have no idea how much I'd love to try and play some outdoor hockey, or go snowmobiling, or make snowmen, or whatever. See, while everybody else dreams of palm trees and white sand beaches, us So Cal kids dream about building real snowmen, hehe. So anyway, how do you like it? I wish I had more specific questions, but any general pros or cons you've noticed would be much appreciated.

It is actually great here. I have lived here my whole life and i love it. I go to U of M dearborn and i think it is great too. You should go to AA and live on campus. That way you could go to a bunch of wings games.

That is funny because what I dislike most about living here is the weather. During the winter months, at least. I love Michigan in the summertime, especially northern Michigan. It is beautiful up there. Then again I grew up here, so I guess being sick of winter isn't all that surprising. Though being able to go skate and/or play hockey on the lake my cousins live on this winter was pretty fantastic :)

Ann Arbor is nice. A lot of the suburbs of Michigan are really nice. U of M is a good school. I was dead-set on moving away from here (I usually feel this way during the winter), but now that the weather is getting nicer, I'm not as enthusiastic about it. Plus, being within close proximity to the Joe and being able to go to Wings games is a big plus.

Make a ice rink, go sledding, and suck it up. The winters here are sweet. Driving in the snow is the only thing that suck. Besides doing donuts though.

Ha ha. I don't mind the snow. Even driving in it is fine. I just hate being cold. And I am ALWAYS cold in the winter.

Cool! I failed to mention that I'd be going as a grad student, but I think they do have housing complexes just for them, and I agree, I think it'd be great to live with fellow students and make some hockey buddies. It'd be a lie if I said the thought of being so close to Wings games wasn't at least a part of reason I want to go there, hehe. I mean, of course they have a great program for what I want to do, and it's a great school in general, but then there's just than one little extra factor... ;)
