Travis 576 Report post Posted May 7, 2010 My assumption last night was that, serious or not, he wouldn't be back. By the time he was likely done getting evaluated - the game was well in hand. No sense in putting him back out there and risking anything.

Travis 576 Report post Posted May 7, 2010 Can anyone supply me with the trios used by Babcock last night? I was unable to watch... Was Franzen switched for Flip? Top 6 broke down like this: Bertuzzi - Zetterberg - Franzen Filpulla - Datsyuk - Holmstrom If memory serves me correct.

VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted May 7, 2010 Ericsson logged the most minutes last night almost 28mins... that is crazy..but it was probably his best game since last season Yeah, he still looked like he didn't know what to do sometimes, and had trouble handling the puck, but he didn't make any huge mistakes and obviously the Sharks never capitalized on any. Definitely a good time to give him big minutes.

Definitely a good time to give him big minutes. He did have one ugly giveaway that led directly to a Sharks scoring chance, but I'd agree that it was a good game for him to log some minutes and hopefully regain some confidence and composure. Mickey commented on this during the broadcast.
