sorry my search thing isnt working for me if you can add this to another topic like it if there is one. anyways

Does anyone know what LA's cap looks like?, i was just looking at free agents for next season(2011) and there are alot more options on D for the Wings if Lids can hang on 1 more, not saying its going to happen its like 1 in a 10000000000000 shot but LA next season just to name a few have

Jack Johnson

Oscar Moller

Wayne Simmonds

Jonathan Bernier

Alec Martinez

and

Drew Doughty

Johnson,Doughty,Simmonds all could want alot more money and who knows about Bernier ive heard a bunch of different things about them keeping either Quick or Bernier and trading the other but if he did stay he will want more to. which just got me thinking how much they could afford.

I'm convinced Bernier will be a stud in this league much like carey price is (and will be greater)

Oscar Moller is a RFA but it would be so sick if he somehow went to wings because he's a friend of mine

Regarding their cap situation they got tons of space as far as im concerned, they were and still are the no.1 team to sign kovalchuk

dont get me wrong...I would love to have Drew Doughty in a Red Wing jersey more than almost any other player out there, (I have sliiiiick Doughty Team Canada Olympic Jersey and yes it is ok to be jealous)

but sadly I cant see it happening. Drew Doughty is the best defenseman to come along in the last 15 years...he will be re signed by LA to at least a 6 year contract if not more...but I can hope against hope I guess...

I would love to get Doughty as well. But there are many things I would love to happen. Stevie sends us Stamkos for Lebda. St. Louis for Meech. and Malone for Maltby. Granted they won't happen, these are things that sound nice.

Stamkos for Lebda are you crazy? They better throw in Hedman and a 1st or we wouldn't even consider it!

I would LOVE Doughty to it just got me thinking though what if he didnt want to stay or what about Jack Johnson even, because with the Kings maybe getting Kovy and add on what Simmonds,Doughty and Bernier will all want i wouldnt mind..Stuart-Rafalski...Johnson-Kronwall, to bad the Preds dont have to resign a whole lot cause Weber would be a awsome fill but maybe he wont want to resign there if they miss the playoffs again.

Doughty won't go anywhere unless he gets offered a retardedly huge contract the Kings just can't match.

Johnson I could see going but he's got piss poor hockey sense by most accounts so I'm not sold on him. Many people in LA have questioned his ability to think the game and that's not a good problem to have as a #1 d-man.

Johnson has the potential though and there is no one really in LA to help him out, there all young thats why i think being around Stuart,Raffi,Kronwall could help and i had him on the 2nd pairing with Kronner
