Great! Although I'm a little surprised to see Nill stay for that long too as an Assistant! I guess being Assistant GM in Detroit is better than any other GM job in the League.

These two are the hands-down best management team in the league.

They haven't drafted higher than 17th overall in 20 frigging years and yet they haven't missed the playoffs in that time either. It's pretty mind-blowing how well they draft and manage a hockey club.

Makes sense that Stevie took the Tampa deal. 5 years is a long time to wait around for the job he wants a crack at, assuming he was even next in line.

Let him learn on the job there and take over for Holland in 5.
