Guest EZBAKETHAGANGSTA Report post Posted August 11, 2010 (edited) I wonder which team will retire his number? My guess is the Kings. Edited August 11, 2010 by EZBAKETHAGANGSTA
Shady Ultima 40 Report post Posted August 11, 2010 I actually really feel bad for the guy. He was never an outstanding goalie in my eyes, but it's sad that his career went the way it did. In his prime, he was much like Osgood, above-average, but capable of bringing a team somewhere. But, the Canucks were a MUCH better overall team then. Naslund, Bert(in his prime) and Jovo. Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted August 11, 2010 He was never the same after the Lidstrom shot. He had an outstanding first two games of the series, but that was when it ended basically.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted August 11, 2010 Echoing sentiments of others, I liked the guy and wish him well, as he tries to figure out what to do when his hockey career is over. It was a joyous thing, that goal of Nick's in 2002 -- but as the caption on the clip says, it defined (if not destroyed) Cloutier's career as a goalie. Not fair, but that's hockey, I guess. Best of luck, Clouts!!
SweWings 45 Report post Posted August 11, 2010 I wonder which team will retire his number? My guess is the Kings. The banner will hang right above the home team goal to remind the current tender of Cloutier's legendary play.
