weGotTheCup89 41 Report post Posted October 12, 2010 Every other power rankings I ever remember reading... did not overreact to one week of play. Look at the teams that were ranked highly last week - Washington now at 14, Chicago at 20, New Jersey at 28? I didn't think these rankings were supposed to be a straight copy and paste from league standings.

Nightfall 871 Report post Posted October 12, 2010 Based on 2 or three games that is exactly what they should look like. This is correct. I watched some of the Leafs games and I must say that they put together solid performances in the first couple games. They deserve up there. Same with Dallas and Detroit. titanium2 867 Report post Posted October 12, 2010 Are power rankings still solely based on if a team wins or loses? Are there any out there that try to gauge simply how well a team is playing and factor in a measurement of how long they can sustain that level of play?
