Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted November 15, 2010 Hawks win in OT. Crazy chances at both ends, including Kopecky being robbed point blank.
Guest Heaten Report post Posted November 15, 2010 Did blackhawks actually just win a game? 1 down and 43 more wins to go before they can even sniff the playoffs. Lol

Guest Heaten Report post Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) Ah well... they can't lose em all. Well... now that they got a win out of their system, they're good to lose the next six. Edited November 15, 2010 by Heaten

I didn't have the dislike for Kopecky that many did while he was here, but seriously, what did this guy do to get so much favor from the hockey gods??? It's like every damn game I watch of his, he ends up stumbling into a breakaway or a wide open net. Like tonight when he took a late penalty but comes out of the box just in time to end up with a breakaway. It's ridiculous.

Like tonight when he took a late penalty but comes out of the box just in time to end up with a breakaway. It's ridiculous. He's just not very good at hockey. Acting as Hossa's sidekick is probably the only reason he isn't in the minors right now. He's got good size and the ideal body type for hockey but has no clue how to use it. It's been enough to warrant the nickname "Pecker" from Hawk fans.
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted November 15, 2010 Derek Boogaard and Steve MacIntyre went toe-to toe twice, both pretty good scraps. John Erskine and Eric Boulton had a hell of a scrap, as well. Good to see the goons like Boogaard, MacIntyre and Boulton sticking around. The pure goons are a rare breed in today's NHL, but they're not extinct yet
