I knew we drafted him but beyond that he's gotten no coverage. So with that I doubt he's looking like he'll play for the Wings someday.

Ya I just realized this was originally posted on Tuesday the 9th, not Tuesday the 16th (today). If we've gone a week without anybody talking about him on here he cant be that big of a prospect.

Hes not a flashy prospect like a Pullkinen but he was drafted earlier then Teemu this year. He also must have impressed since he was just drafted, played 9 games and earned a contract.

He's 6'4, just growing into his body and fairly physical. He's projected to be a third line center because he is very good defensively.

Didn't he play at the prospect camp this year? I think they were impressed how solid defensively he is. He was a small player that just blew up to 6'3" in like a year. He's still learning how to use his big body, but should be a solid player. I don't know what his offensive upside is, but the kid has hockey smarts and is a good skater. I guess Wings hope he learns offense.

It looks like, on average, he averaging close to about .5 point per game on Montreal Juniors. I don't know what that means, really.

Hockey Future has him at a 6.5 (not really that spectacular)

Possessing imposing size, Aubry could be well on his way to becoming a pro prospect by simply filling out his frame. A solid two-way presence, the Trois-Rivieres native has all the tools to dominate on the ice, he just needs to put it together. Crashing the net and blocking shots with equal enthusiasm, Aubry might not have the skills to ever be a scoring forward, but the rest of the package is too enticing to ignore.

He really impressed this year at prospect camp, I didnt read a bad thing about him. Malik praised his game quite a bit if I remember correctly. I think he is an underrated prospect and definitely has some decent NHL potential.

I kinda like that there isn't a lot of talk about him outside of the Wings showing support of him.

Shows him that he isn't going to get any free passes and will have to work his way to the NHL 100% of the way.

Which will probably mean he'll be a HoFer
