Guest mindfly Report post Posted November 26, 2010 Liles gotta slow down sometime one would think, lidstrom needs to keep up and also improve his +/- to be honest, he's a +2 now, not very lidstrom-like
KATIEBARTHEDOOR24 426 Report post Posted November 26, 2010 True. But we are only three months into the season. Having played less than ?25? games and a busy Dec. and Feb. the #'s should only improve.

Up his +/- and keep up the points and Lidstrom has this in the bag. Liles is his only competition at this point.
hooon 1,089 Report post Posted November 26, 2010 I'd love the Perfect Human to get another Norris. Liles has been doing well, but I agree, he's gonna slow down. I haven't seen too many Bruins games this season, but personally, I have always thought that Chara is pretty overrated as a defensemen. He has a cannon shot, good pass, and is enormous, but he's also slow and prone to defensive blunders. I can't think of anyone who has been better than Nick so far. BigWillieStyle 662 Report post Posted November 26, 2010 I can't think of anyone who has been better than Nick so far. How about that "By-foog-li-en" dude in Atlanta? Not really saying he's been "better" than Nick, just way better than I expected him to be. I thought that putting him on defence was going to be a big mistake for Atlanta. His 20 pts. and 0 +/- have kind of proved me wrong. His stock just keeps rising, too bad he's an RFA at the end of this season or i'd say go get him Kenny. Then again maybe the draft pick(s) would be worth it. He does have some of the size and physicallity that we so desparately need on the backend.
T-Ruff 47 Report post Posted November 26, 2010 I've seen two of these now, first was Liles, Lids and Byfuglien... this one swaps Byfuglien with Chara. It appears both have forgotten about Kris Letang: 19pts in 23 games, 23:07 average ice time, and a +10 which is the best on his team by 3, and 6 higher than Crosby. You gotta think that if the Norris ended today, Lidstrom would win with Liles and Letang runners up
