puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) that's a fun little article, thanks for posting! I question Mule's musical tastes, if this is any indication: Edited November 28, 2010 by puckloo39
Travis 576 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 Cool little piece. Surprising to me that his most painful memory is that of losing to Anaheim in '07 and not Pittsburgh in '09. I guess it makes sense, being that he hadn't won a cup yet, though. Quite the nod to Hjalmarsson, too.
Guest mindfly Report post Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) "blabla signed through 2020" that always scares me, johan franzen soon to be 31, lookin kinda rough, playing the hard game in kind of the wrong way... i think that contract will come and haunt wings in 4-5 years.. I worry about that, too. He'll probably end up having to change his style of play as he gets older and declines. We still have a few good years left, though. Or we could hope that the salary cap is sky high and 3.9M come 2015 is what a 500k contract is today Edited November 28, 2010 by mindfly
hokeychik22 17 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 i met the guy a couple times, and being 5'4, he didn't seem that big in person, was kind of small. (he was sitting in a chair, but still.) was very polite and friendly.
hooon 1,089 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 Interesting that he says Jammer is the toughest to play against. For those of you complaining about the Mule... give me a break, the guy is on pace for over 40 goals this season. 1 hokeychik22 reacted to this
zombi 43 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 Not really sure where the Mule criticism is coming from. And..... Summary of the Article: "I hate these questions."
Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 Just remember, after 4 or 5 years, there should still be a thing called LTIR relief and since he'll be older than 35 if he has an injury that forces him out of the league, his cap hit doesn't count against us. it's a win win for signing a 40 goal scorer at half the price of Kovy who can't play while under pressure.
