stevkrause 1,247 Report post Posted December 2, 2010 Combine that 3.5+ with the LTIR cushion they receive from the time Savard already missed and that may be the only move they need to make... I wonder if they took a bath on this one, I'll be real interested to see what's coming back the other way...

EDIT - oh yea, plus all the bimbo's you can handle, haha Edited December 2, 2010 by stevkrause

puckbags 863 Report post Posted December 2, 2010 I'd play in the Qatar Hockey League if someone wanted to pay me to play hockey but yea I guess LA is nice this time of year or anytime of year for that matter.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted December 2, 2010 Loved Marco as a Shark, back when. He's probably very happy to get outta Boston (cold!) Good luck to him, he's a good guy.

stevkrause 1,247 Report post Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) There;s no such thing as a LTIR cushion dude. Here we go with this again... must we really go down the daily cap hit value road again and what is absorbed since he's already missed a quarter of the season? I didn't say they got extra cap space at years end, I merely said the cushion - ie. in the interim. Edited December 2, 2010 by stevkrause

Travis 576 Report post Posted December 3, 2010 So, at least for now, Sturm stays put. Even as he worked to get himself back into game shape following a serious knee injury, forward Marco Sturm realized he might be rehabbing his way onto another team, given the Boston Bruins' salary-cap woes.It was reported earlier Thursday that Sturm was dealt to the Los Angeles Kings, but sources on both teams told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun on Thursday evening that there is "no deal." http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=5875455
