In Modano's absence, Wings' trade picture murky

lmfao, umm....back to the subject, if anyone thinks Kindl will be traded, be prepared to be let down. Kindl has given no reason for them to move him.

I like Hudler, but, he will likely be shopped.

The wings have Smith coming up who is basically a better version of Kindl and Kindl could have some trade value. You sometimes have to give up decent players to get decent players in return. If Detroit is in the market for a third line center I would not be surprised to see Kindl moved. Who else do you move on this roster besides Hudler who is going to get little return?

To Detroit: John Erskine

To Washington: Jakub Kindl and Jiri Hudler

ok, please answer this one question for me and i'm sure others are wondering the same thing

Why do you want to trade Kindl?!

seriously guys people said the same thing about Howard and how we should trade him, but look how well hes doing right now, if you give Kindl a while longer he most likely will suprise you and turn out to be a great defensemen

I probably wouldnt trade Kindl for Erskine but Kindl is definitely not an untouchable prospect. If the right trade comes along I wouldn't be upset to see him go if it helps our chance at a cup this year

Why does everyone want to trade Kindl?

Because if Hudler is being traded, Kindl could sweeten the deal and get us a quality player. If Modano cant make it back and the wings need a third line center then who else would you trade? Hudler, Kindl.

I wouldn't wanna trade Smith because he will probably be up next year and is looking like a much better player then Kindl that plays a similar style.

I wouldn't wanna trade any of the roster players that are in the lineup right now because the wings are rolling aside from Hudler. I also wouldn't wanna see Tatar, Mursak, Sheahan, Jarkrok, Nyquist or Pullkinen traded.

It really only leaves Kindl who has some value and Hudler who wont get us enough to fill the needs.

Someone mentioned his name earlier and stole a little thunder, but trade Hudler for a draft pick to make room for Sergei Fedorov coming in.... :ninja:

(hey it could happen, he couldn't do any worse than Hudler is doing now!)

(just a joke guys)

but for those interested, he has 7G 12A in 33 games and is a +6... But his team is atop the East division with 70 points after 34 games ( I must admit I don't know how they award the points.) The team leader has 29points so it's a pretty even scoring team, maybe Feds is a third line center there. :dntknw:
