I'm pretty sure the Pro Bowl is played in Miami now. Also, it seems to me that the MLB All-Star game is the only one that the players really seem to honor.

This. Coupled with the fact that the winning conference gets homefield advantage in the World Series (even though I don't like this rule) makes for a good all-star game.
