Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) Having a woman play in the NHL. A woman's body can handle the hard checks like a man. What happens if Joe Thornton hits her like he did Parros, but instead of a bad concussion, it's breaks her neck and she dies... Then what? Should Thornton face manslaughter charges? Should Thornton be looked down on for being a 'woman killer'? Many people will say he should have eased up because he 'knew' she was a woman... Then boom, we have double standards in the NHL. But hey, I'm a for a NHWL (National Hockey Womans League)! No thank you to women being in the NHL! I agree. Women should just stick to making three meals a day and giving birth to the real NHL players. Guest Heaten Report post Posted April 4, 2011 I agree. Women should just stick to making three meals a day and giving birth to the real NHL players. I didn't say that... Having a NHWL (exclusive for women) is fine by me. I'd probably watch it, too.
LadyInRed 33 Report post Posted April 4, 2011 lol the whole time I was thinking who would dare be the first to fight a woman in the NHL Anyway, I couldnt see it happening, I'd rather have them do a NHWL, like someone suggested.. I will be honest though, I probably wouldn't watch it 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this
